Are there accommodation options nearby for out-of-town guests?

Yes, we make it very easy to accommodate as we have a duplex located just next door that can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Additionally, there are several hotels and accommodations within close proximity to the Climate + Innovation HUB, making it convenient for your out-of-town guests to stay. How far in advance should we book the venue?

To secure your desired date, we recommend booking as early as possible. Popular dates tend to fill up quickly, so getting in touch sooner rather than later is advised.

What are the production rules?

Production Insurance is required. Furniture and decorations can be rearranged; all must be returned to their original places upon return of facilities. Smoke machines are permitted outdoors; Proper ventilation is necessary for indoor use.

What are the rules for caterers?

Renters are free to work with the caterer of their choice with prior approval from the venue and provided that the caterer has all required / appropriate permits in connection with events. Renter will be responsible for ensuring that the caterer cleans up thoroughly and abides by our regenerative events standards and commitments. Caterers may not cook with an open flame inside the building.

Is furniture available for rent?

Users must provide any additional equipment they or their vendors require. Venue has a list of preferred vendors they can recommend but renters are free to use their own. Delivery and pick-up of all equipment must be coordinated with the Director of Events. 

Is there onsite parking?

Street parking is available. For events with 200 or more expected attendees, it is recommended to hire one of our preferred valet parking vendors. Rates may vary depending on the duration of the event and amount of attendees.

Payment / Deposit

A deposit equal to 50% of the total rental fee is due on execution of the Rental agreement. The deposit and a fully executed agreement are required to reserve dates. The remaining 50% of the rental fee and full payment of the Refundable Security Deposit is due 30 days prior to the event. Select dates may require 100% non-refundable payment. Non-payment of full fees can result in cancellation of an event.

Cancellation Policy

To secure event dates, a 50% deposit of the rental fee is required. In the event of a cancellation within 30 days of the scheduled event date, the deposit becomes nonrefundable.

Publicity, Media, and Photography

The venue reserves the right to pre-approve all event plans, including rental, catering, and parking choices, as well as setup details like lighting, décor, and seating arrangements. For certain instances such as event invitations, flyers, and press releases, the venue requires advance approval of publicity materials. Photography and filming permissions are evaluated on a per-case basis.
